Private Residence
J. Goldman ProjectAs part of a larger ground-up residential project, I was tasked with designing the guest bedrooms of this high-end home built in Long Island, NY. This house was designed by the team at J Goldman, and my scope of work involved various aspects of ff&e specifications, as well as the complete design of several spaces in the home.
Staying within the overall design direction of the residence, the guest bedrooms are spacious and tactile. The selected furniture is monolithic in form and scale, with wide lengths of expanse between pieces; creating the effect of seperate zones spaced throughout the room. The focus on materiality and texture subdues the large, almost everbearing scale of the furniture, turing these spaces into a retreat from the comotion of the rest of the home.
